What to Expect from Cyber Science 2021
With only days to go until Cyber Science 2021, we have put together a list of what you can expect from our virtual conference.

1. Members Area
This year, we are delighted to be providing you access to an exclusive members-only area. From here, you can watch conference live streams, access conference zoom links and, eventually, watch the conference proceedings on demand.
You haven’t created an account for the members area yet? Do not worry! Follow these simple instructions.
1. Select ‘Login/Sign-Up’ under the heading ‘Members’ on the navigation bar, or follow this link https://c-mric.org/login/.
Now click ‘Register’
2. Enter your first name, last name and email address and click ‘Register.’ Please ensure that you use the same email address that you registered with.
3. Please wait for your account to be approved by the site administrator. Ensure you check your spam for your account activation email with your password.
Once you have accessed the member’s area you can:
- View the conference schedule
- Access the daily Zoom links
- View the conference eBook
- Network throughout the conference using the members forum
2. Conference Schedule and Zoom Links
Once you have received your activation email and password you will be able to access the member’s area, conference schedule and zoom links. These are contained within the Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday links.
3. Networking
Use the built-in members-only forum to network throughout the conference.
Add your LinkedIn account to your forum profile so other users can connect with you.
Go to My Profile -> Account -> Account -> Scroll and copy and paste your LinkedIn profile to website -> scroll and press ‘save changes’
The forum will be updated each day of the conference with new topics of discussion. We have set aside time each day (16:00-16:30) for users to utilise the forum function.
4. Irish Quiz
As you cannot travel to Ireland for the conference this year, we’re bringing Ireland to you.
On Monday, we will host a very special quiz on Irish culture. This quiz contains a general knowledge round, music round, dance round and a sport round. Each round will be accompanied by an informative video showcasing each cultural talent. The questions will focus on the content of the videos, so make sure you listen and watch closely!
Make sure to join in on Monday 17:30-18:30. We’re excited to see you there!

2 Irish themed hampers worth €80 each are up for grabs for those who come 1st and 2nd in the quiz.
5. Keynote Speakers
Of course, we cannot forget our wonderful keynote speakers and industry experts.
Each day of the conference will feature at least one keynote speaker. We can promise you that these sessions are not to be missed!
6. Women in Technology Panel
This year, we are very excited about our Women in Technology panel. Prof. Aunshul Rege will be moderating and she will be joined by some fantastic women making their mark in technology. This is one you cannot miss.
